The Construction Begins and Ends !

The lot was cleared and ready for us to start building on, about mid October 1994.
We had no contractor hired but we had a long time friend and customer
Sonny Lawler help us with the city inspectors and other contractor stuff. We will always be in his debt.

It took 4 days just to build the form for the slab
and took over 100 yards of concrete. This was a  large undertaking
for 4  A/C mechanics and 2 helpers.

The building started up....That's Brian and Mr. Ed try to figure out what to do next.
Where did all these forklifts come from?

We didn't have electricity  yet, so we backed up the motor home and plugged our power tools into the Onan Generator on board.

We only had money for one door as you can see !

This was the unfinished inside of the building. Boy did we think it was big.
But we managed to fill it up real quick! We scraped up some more money and bought 3 more doors. We eventually ended up with 12.

With help from all my friends relatives and employees it GOT BUILT. Roger and Mr. Ed stayed behind and worked on the office area and service area and allowed me to the attend the MACS Convention in Las Vegas that year. We started this project in October 1993 and we were open for business at our new location in March 1994 just as the warm weather started in.
